Today's training session for George’s Run for Autism was all about pushing my limits and prioritizing recovery. I embarked on a challenging 25km jog and walk, taking in the sights along the way that offered both motivation and distraction. The journey was demanding, but knowing that every step brings awareness and support for autism made it truly meaningful. Post-run, I embraced recovery wholeheartedly – an ice bath to soothe my muscles, followed by deep stretching to maintain flexibility and prevent injury. To top it off, a rejuvenating massage helped ease any lingering tension. Training isn't just about physical effort; it's a holistic approach that encompasses dedication, self-care, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
